In the volcanic highlands of West Java, Frinsa Estate has become one of Indonesia’s leading specialty coffee producers. Led by Wildan Mustofa and Atieq Mustikaningtyas, the estate is known for precision processing, innovative fermentation methods, and complete quality control from harvest to export.

Unlike traditional Indonesian processing methods, Frinsa Estate focuses on terroir-driven coffees with clarity, structure, and refined sweetness. The estate cultivates unique varieties including the rare P88 alongside Caturra, contributing to Black Orchid’s exotic and layered profile.

⚗️ Extended Anaerobic Fermentation

Black Orchid undergoes an extended anaerobic natural fermentation using selected cultures of Lactobacillus and yeast. This carefully controlled process develops deep fruit intensity, vibrant sweetness, and elegant complexity while maintaining balance and clarity.

After fermentation, the cherries are slowly dried under controlled conditions to stabilize flavor development and preserve the coffee’s luxurious texture and structure.
