Since the 6th century, Yemen has been celebrated as the birthplace of premium organic coffee. SPIRITHUB is thrilled to introduce our new “Yemen Odaini Coffee,” featuring fully aromatic beans that are among the finest in the world. This exceptional coffee offers a rich, unique flavor profile, reflecting the region’s longstanding coffee heritage.
The coffee was harvest from the last agricultural season, from several farms in the west of Haraz at an altitude of 2,000 meters. These farms are renowned for their fertile soil and ideal climate, which contribute to the unique flavor profile of the coffee. The cherries were carefully handpicked to ensure only the best quality fruit was selected.
Fermentation occurred over 7 days in Sanaa in special air-insulated barrels. This process enhances the coffee’s natural flavors and aromas, creating a rich and complex cup. After fermentation, the coffee dried for 4 days in the sun, a traditional method that adds depth to its flavor. It then underwent direct drying for approximately 20 days, ensuring optimal moisture levels.
The fine-tuning and blending process was completed in special warehouses to create a balanced and consistent blend. In March 2024, the coffee was peeled using a modern Brazilian peeler specialized for coffee, and hand-filtered in the final stage. To guarantee exceptional quality, it also passed through a laser machine to remove impurities. This meticulous process results in a premium coffee that delivers a unique and satisfying experience in every cup.
